Contribute to Temple Reyim

Temple Reyim offers a variety of ways to show your support to Temple Reyim, through a contribution to the Endowment Fund, the purchase of a Memorial Plaque, or as painless as a purchase of a book through our Amazon.com link. To find out any more about these opportunities, please call the synagogue office.

Tree of Life

A leaf on the Tree of Life is both a wonderful way to commemorate any joyous occasion, a birth, bar/bat mitzvah, graduation, wedding or special anniversary and to share these special simchas with your Temple Reyim Family. Each engraved leaf costs $350. Assistance is available in composing a suitable inscription when you place your order.

Capital Campaign

The construction phase of the Capital Campaign is complete, but the fundraising is not. Any amount raised now will lower any long-term obligations. If you have not yet been able to contribute or wish to increase your donation, now is the time!

Endowment

The Temple Reyim Endowment Trust provides contributors with a permanent legacy for our synagogue that outlasts all other forms of giving. Contributions to the Trust are invested by Trustees to provide perpetual income to the synagogue. Gifts may be designated for either the general needs of the congregation or for specific purposes. Contributions may be in any form, such as cash, bequests, securities, charitable gift annuities, real estate, art, life insurance, etc., and may be made in various formats to best meet the contributor's current or future tax or estate needs.

Butcherie Fundraiser

Do you shop at the Butcherie? Ask the cashier to stamp your receipt for Temple Reyim, and then send or bring the receipt to the synagogue office. The Butcherie will make a contribution to Temple Reyim equal to 5% of credit card purchases and 3% of cash purchases. Support Temple Reyim while you shop!

Lindwood Memorial Park

Temple Reyim has reserved a section in Lindwood Memorial Park in Randolph for the convenience of our temple members during these past many years.

Your action now can help your loved ones at a most difficult time. The purchase of a cemetery plot before you need it can give your family the gift of peace of mind for the future and help support Temple Reyim now.

Plaques and Perpetual Yahrzeit

Temple Reyim offers its members the opportunity to honor the memory of their loved ones with a variety of plaques with the following options:

  • Memorial Plaques: Names are inscribed for permanent remembrance on brass plaques which are affixed in the Eleanor Weisman Gray Memorial Alcove in the main sanctuary or the traditional bronze plaques affixed on the Jean Samick Klein memorial board in the Goldweitz Chapel. The plaques are lit on the yahrzeit date and at all Yizkor services.
  • Sponsoring and Sustaining Plaques: Members who make a membership commitment above and beyond the regular dues are recognized on plaques affixed in the lobby for their commitment to the strength of the congregation.
  • Perpetual Yahrzeit: You may purchase a perpetual yahrzeit for a family member, a friend, or in reserve for yourself. A member of the daily minyan will receit Kaddish on the annual yahrzeit date for you or a loved one.
