USY Staff
Youth Director / Senior USY Advisor: Rachel Savage
Rachel Savage serves as Youth Director, Senior USY Advisor, and Office Manager. She started working at Temple Reyim two years ago as Junior USY Advisor, and has loved this synagogue since for its sense of community and friendliness. A former USYer from the Hagalil region (NJ), she is excited to be working at Temple Reyim and helping the larger Jewish community recognize Temple Reyim USY as truly being "the coolest and the best." In her occasional free time, she loves to travel with her husband, explore new restaurants, and read. She loves visitors, so drop by the Office anytime for a cup of coffee or tea and a chat.
Junior USY Advisor : Gabrielle Blonder
Gabrielle has been actively involved with USY since the age of 10 (14 years ago!). She was president of her chapter, Swampscott/Marblehead and served on NERUSY's regional general board for four years. Gabrielle graduated two years ago from Binghamton University in upstate New York. She currently works in the IT department of the corporate office of a company called Bright Horizons. In her spare time, Gabrielle enjoys swing dancing, traveling whenever possible, and a wide variety of arts and crafts projects. She is super excited for the many adventures she's planning for this year!
Kadima Advisor: Laura Wilson
Laura Wilson is the new Kadima USY advisor. Laura was born and raised in St. Louis, MO, where she was president of her local USY chapter and attended Washington University. For fun, she does photography, New York Times crossword puzzles, and plays with her cat Scamper. Last year, Laura was an assistant teacher at Temple Reyim's Rosenshine Nursery School, and she is currently teaching at a private school in Brookline. Laura is looking forward to a fun and active year with Kadima USY!
