Translated literally, "Daf Yomi" means "page of the day." However, as it is more broadly understood, it refers to the individual, daily commitment of studying a page of Talmud every day. New members are welcome to join the group at any time, as it is for people with any (or no) level of prior experience in Talmud study. The study group meets every Shabbat for about 45 minutes after Shabbat Kiddush.
In the weekly meetings, the group discusses some of the highlights from the prior week's readings.
