Kol Zimra Kabbalat Shabbat Service

Kol Zimra, A Community Friday Night Program, January 6th

In November, Temple Reyim introduced a new Friday night program called Kol Zimra, which means "Voice of Song." This program continues throughout the year on the first Friday of the month, bringing together all segments of our Reyim congregation for a night of community and song. We have two religious services simultaneously. Rabbi Shalva will lead an abridged, family-oriented service in the Offit Bet Am, designed to maintain the interest of children, with singing, dancing, stories and guitar accompaniment. At the same time, we also will have our beautiful, traditional Kabbalat Shabbat Service in the Chapel, led by volunteer congregants.

Both services will begin at 6:00 pm and will end by 6:45. After services, we will join together as a community for Kiddush and dinner. After dinner, we will sing Shabbat songs and socialize together to conclude the evening.

Mark your calendars now. Cost is $15 per adult & $6 per child with a family cap of $40. Please let us know if you would like a chicken or vegetarian meal. RSVP is required.
