LGBTQ+ Inclusion and Advocacy

We warmly and lovingly welcome LGBTQ+ Jews and their families and value the membership and participation of people of all sexual orientations and gender identities. We do our best to fully live this core value by:

• using gender-neutral language for our Torah service to ensure a fully inclusive and empowering call to Torah
• partnering with Keshet to advocate for legal and policy issues critical to LGBTQ+ inclusion and equality
• participating in Shivyon, Keshet’s Equality Project
• receiving Board training in LGBTQ+ inclusivity
• dedicating gender-neutral bathrooms
• celebrating Pride Shabbat each spring
• inviting speakers throughout the year to address LGBTQ+ equality, advocacy and education
• educating our B-Mitzvah on LGBTQ+ inclusion and equality
