High Holy Days

Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur offer us much rich spiritual wisdom. As a community, we begin to prepare for the High Holy Days a month earlier, at the beginning of the month of Elul, with “chesbon ha’nefesh,” reflection and introspection. This includes special learning with our Rabbi, and programs together with our neighbor Mayyim Hayyim community mikveh, with whom we share a special relationship.

Our services are spiritual, meaningful and uplifting. We follow a traditional Hebrew service, and we are very proud that our members lead the morning service, leyn Torah and chant haftarah.

Our Rabbi gives sermons that raise critical issues for us to consider from a Jewish and spiritual lens, and brings poems, reflections, meditations and teachings to help us appreciate the holiness of these days and reflect upon our lives. Our High Holy Day Cantor leads us in Musaf, and on Yom Kippur, the closing service, Neilah.

Please join us for our warm, welcoming and spiritually uplifting services. We do not have tickets, and there is no cost to join us for High Holy Days.

Non-members may make a suggested donation of $180.

With limited exception, our seating is open and unassigned.

Please join us for these very special days.
